Koei Tecmo announced Kiniro no Corda: Octave this week as a 15th Anniversary game that brings together 22 handsome men from across Kiniro no Corda 2 and Kiniro no Corda 3. The game is coming to PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, and Windows via Steam.

[Thanks,!] The game is split into rhythm game parts and visual novel adventure parts. The rhythm game part will include over 30 popular character songs from across the Kiniro no Corda series, as well as new songs made especially for this game.

Meanwhile, the story takes place over two routes with two different protagonists, and whisks the characters from Kiniro no Corda 2 and 3 across time and space, to a magic island where fairies live. It’s an all-star carnival where you can see different characters interacting for the first time, and there will be surprising changes in store for several characters as well. Each hero will have his own route and ending. The routes are split into the Festa Route, which takes place directly after Kiniro no Corda 2’s ending, and the Camp Route that takes place after Kiniro no Corda 3’s ending. Kiniro no Corda: Octave is getting a special edition in the form of a ‘Treasure Box’, which adds a photo library, an artbook with character designs, and more.

Furthermore, there will be two special Treasure Box editions that focus on Kiniro no Corda 2 and Kiniro no Corda 3 respectively, called ‘Party of Blessings Box’ and ‘Passionate Vacation Box’. Finally, a special edition to trump them all called ‘The Musical Miracle that Forged Bonds Box ~15th Anniversary~’ collects everything from the above, plus a series illustration DVD. Kiniro no Corda: Octave will be coming out on PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on February 14, 2019. The Steam version will be purchasable worldwide, and there will be a 10% discount on the first week of release.

•: Pretty much a given. Hell, just look at the trope image. •: Lots and lots of it. The performances in the game and anime are actually pretty good. •: Almost all of the cast. •: Among others: Hino and Tsukimori, Tsukimori and Tsuchiura, and Hihara and Yunoki.
